QUEEN PATIENCE PEACE KAHUBIRE 4TH MISS
HUMANITY AFRICA 2022/2023
  1. CONGRATULATION ON EMERGING THE WINNER OF MISS HUMANITY AFRICA, HOW DOES THAT MAKE YOU FEEL?
It’s like God has answered my long time prayer request and emerging the overall
winner feels like my hard work has been rewarded
I have always stood up and advocated for the people that society looks at as less
fortunate and also emerging the winner means a lot to me and the people I inspire.
  2. WHAT MOTIVATED YOU TO CONTEST ?
I grew up with a mindset of being the first model as well a medical professional
because I was passionate about fashion ,science and service. This has always given me
a daily inner drive . I have also participated in national pageants and always by God’s
    grace emerged victorious.
The reason as to why I joined Miss Humanity Africa is because I believed that MHA
has a bigger platform that I can use to reach out to vulnerable youth in Africa who have
dreams of changing the odds of society because I believe their background doesn’t
    define their future .
  3. WHAT DOES MISS HUMANITY AFRICA SASH AND CROWN SYMBOLIZE?
The MISS HUMANITY AFRICA sash and crown symbolize LIGHT that every young
African Woman can create light even when it’s dark the light will always overcome darkness

4. WHAT WERE THE CHALLENGES YOU FACED DURING THE COMPETITION AND HOW YOU OVERCOME THEM?
l am a medical student and the pageant days were very close to my exams, So I didn’t have enough time to prepare myself like I would have wished because I had to strike a balance between my final exams and pageant competition. I travelled just after my last exam it was really stressful because I didn’t have time to rest after exams.
Due to the busy schedule I didn’t process the visa on time. The air ticket fee doubled because I booked it late. Every time I was getting the stress breakdown I would remind myself that I have always worked hard and dreamt of doing this and the final days challenges shouldn’t shutter a dream of years.

  1. HOW WAS THE WELCOMING CEREMONY IN YOUR COUNTRY?
It was really fun and inspiring, I was welcomed by my country people, friends and family and I have never seen people super excited to see me. I really felt proud of myself as everyone thanked me for representing my country.

6. WHAT MADE YOU OUTSTANDING FROM OTHER CONTESTANTS?
self-motivation and determination from the day I landed at Lagos International Airport. I always whispered to myself, “Girl, you already have an invisible crown and you’re about to see it visible; just keep going,” and my daily prayer was, “Lord, make my invisible crown visible.”

  1. WHAT WERE YOUR BEST MOMENT DURING CAMPING?
Learning about the different contestants culture made me realize how African countries are really relatable. I remember during our pet project presentations most of the challenges presented didn’t differ from the ones of my home country. This shows the sisterhood we Africans share.
  2. HOW HAS WINNING THE PAGEANT CHANGED YOUR LIFE?
I am seeing my dream of changing lives blossom daily, different organizations are reaching out to me and happened to appear on a billboard in Uganda.
Many doors of traveling the world have opened up for me and have met powerful people in Africa.
  3. WHAT SHOULD WE EXPECT FROM YOUR REGIN?
As I said that my sash and crown symbolize light expect it to shine so bright to reach out to the the vulnerable African women and youth
This light contains hope, love and I believe with all this I can be able to change lives of many vulnerable people and am already on the move of the WE STILL CAN PROJECT that is going to create awareness about HIV/AIDS since many of the young people are ignorant and this has lead to an increase in the spread of the disease with the youth having the highest new infection increase rate.
  1. WHAT DO YOU HAVE TO SAY TO ASPIRING MODELS/QUEENS?
There is nothing you dream of that can’t come to reality. Keep pushing your for dream and give a deaf ear to all negative thoughts people will try to inject you. Lastly always remember that your background doesn’t define your future.
